The outbreak of the new coronavirus in 2020 has not only changed the way humans live, but also changed the way churches gather.
Intensive traditional on-site gatherings have been forced to stop in the past two years, and the church has changed to online live-streaming gatherings, which is rare in the two thousand years of church history.
Pastor Zhang Boli believes that the church's gathering mode and pastoral care mode will also undergo huge changes in the future. New online churches will become the trend of future development. Online live broadcast platforms and new media communication technologies have provided convenience for the church's Sunday worship and multimedia education ministries. The church's various ministries, Sunday worship, group gatherings, youth education, theological education, etc. are all carried out online.
Hua Xia Evangelical Seminary was established in such an environment. Hua Xia Evangelical Seminary has graduated 311 students who are now serving all over the world.
The seminary uses online multimedia to train church leaders, develop their leadership skills, and equip them with Scripture. We prepare leaders to teach God's Word, shepherd congregations, and build churches for a new generation, with the hope that they will transform their generation and make a difference in the world.
We equip bivocational church leaders, particularly those planting house churches for the first time, mission workers, small-group leaders, and Sunday school teachers. Our training provides a solid foundation in Scripture and theology, develops church-planting and pastoral skills, strengthens team leadership and management, and nurtures a commitment to bear witness to the gospel and transform society.
Gather the harvest and train disciples. Advance the spread of the gospel in China, encourage culture shaped by Christ, and build churches centered on God's Kingdom. Plant churches in China and around the world where the gospel is proclaimed, prayer is steadfast, people love one another, and everyone serves, fulfilling the Lord's Great Commission!
We believe that true education transforms lives. Hua Xia Evangelical Seminary therefore goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge, helping students put biblical teaching into practice and grow in spiritual maturity as they prepare to plant and shepherd churches.
